Find our elementary summer camps, and preschool summer camps below!

Elementary Summer Camps

Dates: June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 15-19, and July 22-26

Time: 9am-12pm and 12:10-3:10pm sessions

Age: Current Kindergarten through 5th grade students (rising 1st-6th grade students)

Cost:

One camp for one week: $120
Two camps for one week: $215

One camp for three weeks: $330
Two camps for three weeks: $595

Traveling camps are an additional $55

Sibling Discount:
First sibling is full price, second sibling receives 10% discount, every additional sibling receives 20% discount.

Week 1: June 10-14

9am-12pm - Wildlife Conservation Camp: Learn how to protect wildlife from across the world! Give a voice to animals that cannot speak for themselves and create a plan to protect our local creatures!

12:10-3:10pm - Community Builders: Create a city! Learn about sustainability, infrastructure, community helpers, and what it means to be a neighbor!

Week 2: June 17-21

9am-12pm - Dreaming - Art Camp: Do you love using your imagination? This camp is for you! We will use ideas from your creative mind to create art pieces that are out of this world!

12:10-3:10pm - Island Scientists: Grab your lab coat! We will dive deeper into chemistry, biology, and astronomy with our own science projects! At the end of the week campers will have the opportunity to share what they've learned about science.

Week 3: June 24-28

9am-12pm - Traveling Camp - Health and Wellness: Learn about health and fitness on the island in this traveling camp!

12:10-3:10pm - Discovering Hilton Head: Learn about the nature and history of Hilton Head Island!

Week 4: July 8-12

9am-12pm - Imagination Camp: In imagination camp we will make projects, videos, songs, poems, and more to bring our imagination to life!

12:10-3:10pm - Superhero Training Camp: Complete challenges and learn how to be an amazing superhero!

Week 5: July 15-19

9am-12pm - Dolphin Tank Invention Camp: Learn about different inventions that have changed the world, design your own invention, and build a prototype!

12:10-3:10pm - Speak - Art Camp: Art has been used throughout history to share a story. This art camp will give opportunity for several artistic mediums and therefore multiple ways to speak. The week will end with an art gallery!

Week 6: July 22-26

9am-12pm - Plants & Animals: We interact with plants and animals every single day and people all over the world interact with them differently. In this camp we explore the animals of the world and we will learn the very exciting ways people care for and use plants!

12:10-3:10pm - Discover and Imagine Camp: In discover and imagine camp we will use science, story telling, and other tools to figure out what we feel about fun legendary and mythical tales! Is bigfoot real? What would the abominable snowman look like in order to thrive in it's cold environment? Let's answer these questions and more at Discover and Imagine Camp!

Preschool Summer Camps

Dates: June 17-21, June 24-28, July 17-21, and July 22-26

Time: 9am-12pm/12:10-3:10pm sessions (Full Day 9am-3:10pm)

Age: 3-5 must be fully potty trained

Cost:

Half day of camp one week: $120
Full day of camp for one week: $215

June 17-21 Sensory Fun (during elementary camp week 2): Sensory activities are important for kids for a lot of reasons. Sensory activities help children to experience touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing in ways they may not have experienced before.

June 24-28 The Artist in Me (during elementary camp week 3): Preschoolers will explore art through a new lens and create their own masterpieces inspired by renowned artists from around the world.

July 15-19 Loose Parts Play (during elementary camp week 5): Children will use both natural and recycled loose parts to create works of art, build structures, and create play spaces both inside and outside. 

July 22-26 STEAM Ahead (during elementary camp week 6:)- Discover the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through hands-on experiments and the pursuit of original projects led by the children themselves. Each summer camp program at Island Academy’s Preschool Program ignites the child’s sense of wonder and allows for open ended play, sharpens critical thinking skills and builds on their prior knowledge of the world around them.
